Shira Miller Communications Announces Expansion September 12, 2005, Atlanta, Ga. - Shira Miller Communications (SMC), an award-winning boutique PR firm, has hired two new employees - GiGi K. Miller and Erica R. Rabhan - and moved into a larger office space. Focusing on making clients' products and services important to their audiences, the agency specializes in brand image enhancement, media relations, strategic communications, new product launches and marketing communications. Capitalizing on her more than 10 years of experience in project management, television production, media relations, celebrity outreach and special events, GiGi joins SMC as an Account Executive. Most recently, she developed and oversaw the talent relations department for Steamroller Entertainment. GiGi's career also includes stints as a Talent Executive for E! Entertainment Television and serving in development and fundraising for Aids Project Los Angeles. She began her career working as a production coordinator with such studios as Warner Bros. and Columbia Tri-Star Television. The Raleigh native graduated from North Carolina State University. Prior to joining the firm, Account Coordinator Erica Rabhan served as the event manager for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Coastal Area Chapter, in Charleston, South Carolina. Her responsibilities included managing a committee of 20 volunteers and helping raise thousands of dollars within the local community. Erica first honed her communication skills through PR internships with the American Red Cross and American Heart Association. The College of Charleston graduate is originally from Greenville, South Carolina. SMC has also moved into a larger office space in Inman Park to accommodate the expansion. Since the firm's inception in January 2001, clients have included Accountants One, All-In Chips, Auburn Health Strategies, Carvel Ice Cream, Cox Communications, Dolce, Morrison Management Services, Spanx (hosiery & innerwear), Taste of Atlanta and The Weber School. |
