So, they are the love of your life, the one that greets you at the door when you come home and the only one who really understands when you are having a bad day. You may count on your spouse or best friend, but the one who really understands is your four-legged, wet nosed dog.
Since your pooch makes you happy, you have to return the favor by letting them out in the back yard, taking them for a walk, or letting them romp around with friends at the local dog park to get out all of that pent up energy. They also need extra affection after a long hard day of sitting around waiting for you to come home and play with them.
Unfortunately, some people are cruel to helpless animals that happen to be at the wrong place at the wrong time. Often times these dogs end up in a local shelter just looking for someone to love. If you have decided that you want to see what a difference a pet can make in your life, go see what you can find at your local animal shelter. You will be amazed how happy a waggy tale and floppy ears can make you.
