From managing multiple clients to staying on top of daily workflow, Erica Rabhan has been involved in every aspect of the business at Shira Miller Communications. With her strong organizational skills, love for planning events and keen attention to detail, she is an essential "go-to" person that makes things happen.
Erica's responsibilities include publicity generation, community relations, writing and proofreading copy, participating in creative brainstorming sessions and ensuring that implementation details are executed as effectively as possible.
Prior to joining Shira Miller Communications in June 2005, Erica served as the event manager for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Coastal Area Chapter. During that stint, she managed a committee of 20 volunteers and helped raise thousands of dollars within the local Charleston community. Her experience also includes work with other non-profits such as the American Red Cross and American Heart Association.
After two years of strong successes – which included planning special events with Accountants One, fido fido, Taste of Atlanta and Y-3 - Erica was promoted to the position of Account Executive. Her recent media relations highlights include placements with Atlanta Journal & Constitution, Atlanta Woman, Gwinnett Daily Post, The Journal of Accountancy, Good Day Atlanta and the Northside Neighbor. Erica has also enjoyed creating community relations partnerships for clients such as Carvel Ice Cream and Pull-A-Part, motivated by each company’s genuine enthusiasm, result-driven people, and openness to taking creative approaches.
In addition, the College of Charleston graduate has been quoted in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and “I Do” for Brides! A native of Greenville, South Carolina, Erica lives in Atlanta with her husband Michael and two beagles, Winnie and Cooper. Her other interests include exercising, reading and cooking.
